Why do guys like basic girls?

It seems like guys usually go for the Starbucks drinking, Ugg wearing, GIn & Tonic drinking girls over the more artistic types that are a little more offbeat.

why is this?

Artistic people can be off-putting I think. Especially if they dress differently or have a weird personality. Like for me, I write my own songs, play guitar, bass guitar, write lyrics and am starting to learn electric drums just to put in my songs. I also have learned show to make an electric guitar and I am making an electric bass right now.

Some people find it cool some don'tt. I don't share my stuff with anyone really, I don't perform or anything. And I am very slow at making my bass.

Most people don't know anything about me because I'm very closed off and don't speak much with people, they wouldn't even know that I'm creative unless I told them. Plus I don't think that people think songwriting is creative, they think that it's true same as playing guitar, you learn how or whatever.

I would love a creative girl, as long as she is cool and I was attracted to her.

I find that artistic, "hipster" girls sometimes have "offbeat" issues that go beyond their hobbies and appearance. One major issue is that these women are often very political. They rant and scream about Donald Trump being the coming of the anti-christ and everything else.

I'm not a huge Trump fan myself. However what I'm seeing from liberal "hipster" people is absolutely out of control lately. This behavior is making me LIKE Trump instead of convincing me to go in the other direction. This is one of the reasons I avoid "hipster" girls like this. Not saying you are like this, but many are.

@ReWindCity alright if that's your approach I respect it. I just been seeing so many people (especially young hipster types) go way way over the top in the last few months. This stuff is only making things worse.

Like I said I'm not gung ho about him either. He's already done somethings that has hurt my business (I do consulting for a renewable energy company). But I do believe the liberal social domination and PC marxist trends created the perfect storm for him to get elected.

Actually, guys are all different. Good, future Husban, Types of guys WANT a woman with artistic-ness, ( So to speak). So a real good guy will accept your artistry.
Basically, If you think that most or all guys like basic girls, you are looking at the wrong type of guys. There are plenty of men who are accepting of girls talents/ personality.

Some people are more driven by love some are more driven by lust. Those lust driven people are likely more superficial.

Some people are just naturally pale. I am naturally very pale. I went to Spain for 3 weeks in summer and didn't get a tan. Some of us are just naturally pale and it has nothing to do with being indoors.
