There's this guy I'm kinda interested in. He's a lot older than me though, 8 years older. He never seems to want to push things with me though, I think because he is older. The next morning we were both kind of awkward about it but just brushed it off.

Now though he's promised that he could invite me over to smoke with him when our schedules are cleared up. We're also kinda planning to drink, only that's a loose sketch at this point because I'd end up having to stay over if we get drunk. And I'm just not sure like he wants, or what he's expecting. out of this, is he expecting sex?

I wouldn't say that he's expecting sex, especially him knowing that you're a virgin. This doesn't mean that he doesn't want sex--I think you know the answer to that question. The question is, if you went to his house and he wanted sex, what would you do? Especially since you know that you may be high and drunk?

He might have just been shooting the shit, especially if you took the convo there, and he was just bored and buzzed. I would see what happens when you get together with him again, just make sure that you stay safe, especially if you don't know him well. Your best bet would probably be to hang out with him in a group til you see what he's all about.
