I was good friends with a guy I went to high school with 4 years back. We didn't really hang much outside of school, but we were close enough to trust each other whenever we needed someone to talk to. We used to tease each other a lot and got along very well. After graduation we didn't exactly drift apart, we just didn't see each other because of college, work, etc. But recently he sent me an email asking how I was and we caught up a bit. He eventually said something like "Hopefully we'll bump into each other sometime. If not we should catch up soon!"
What are his intentions? Does he mean what he says? Is there anything I need to do, or should I let him invite me to meet up with him? I know I'm thinking too much, but I'd really like to know what made him contact me so randomly.
