Is it strange my boyfriend has his female best friend as his lock screen on his phone?

Maybe I'm overthinking but he's cheated on me in the past.
I know for a fact he went to school with this girl and they're in the same swim team and they're absolute best friends but he has this picture of her where she modelled a swimsuit (one piece, nothing revealing) as his lock screen.

i feel a little uncomfortable but is that something guys don't really think about?
Like I have my best friend as my lock screen but she's same gender and she's pulling an ugly face...

If he cheated on you in the past, then he will cheat on you again. Putting his "Best Friend" as his lock screen is strange, especially when it's a friend who is a girl and in a swimsuit posing as a model. There is more going on and if you already have doubts and worry, then chances are it is valid.

My first serious relationship had me as the chump. After about a year and a half she admitted to me that she cheated on me. I left her that same day but after a few weeks we got back together. My thinking was that I didn't find out from someone else, she admitted it to my face, was sorry and all crying and crap. At the time I didn't say anything, I just told her to get out of my car. Zero emotion and that's what made it worse for her because I didn't react. I didn't yell or call her a deceptive slut, I just told her to leave. But stupid me, I figured because she was honest about it, she was truly remorseful and there was a chance we could still make things work.

We'll after another year and a half the relationship tanked and I'm sure she cheated on me again. I learned a lot from that experience with her and learned not to let idiots like that into my life again. When it all happened I was 19-20... Right where you are it would seem.

I would recommend leaving that sh*hole and find someone better whom you don't have to worry about. He sounds like a player and he is no doubt screwing around behind your back. The fact that he has his "friend" as his lock screen is showing that not only can he cheat on you, but also have other women on his phone's lock screen whom he is very close with... And you'll still stay with him like a sucker. I wouldn't be surprised if he boasts about it to his friends.

He is fk'n playing you and regardless of his excuses or whether or not he is or isn't cheating on you, cut your losses and find someone better. If you can't trust him and your gut is telling you something is going on... It is.

It is somewhat strange. Maybe he s trying to get a response to it from you. Anyway you should probably just ask him. You should be able to just discuss it with him right? If you can't​ talk then something is wrong with your relationship. But if you can't trust I would say something is wrong anyway.

Your boyfriend may or may not get upset. But, regardless, it is pretty disrespectful for him to have her as his lock screen. Perhaps it's an inside joke, or she changed it to that. But, I feel you should ask him to change it if it makes you feel uneasy and uncomfortable. He should also respect your feelings.

Guys dont make a girl their lock screen or background if they dont have feelings for her, most guys in relationships would have their spouse as a lock screen over a female friend. he's cheated in the past and now has this girl as his lock screen, that seems like a big warning sign that not everything he's doing may be innocent. how long have you two been together?

What you are having is not overthinking, it is your instinct. So he has cheated on you before and you are still with him? It looks like whatever heartbreak coming, you are half responsible. He having another girl as his home screen means her importance overshadows yours, and it is not about how revealing her clothes are. It is not like it is a celebrity's picture, it is his "best friend".

And a side note: unintelligent women are a turn-off so that could cause a men to cheat/not seeing his girlfriend as important, just so you know...

Uh oh. As a guy I have my best friend as my lock screen, but that's because we love eachother. We are both single and neither have told each other "hey I like you," but it's definitely there. Most of the time when us guys put a girl as our lock screen it's because we want to always be able to see them because we love them.
