Is it normal for a boyfriend to video call his female bestfriend as well?

Asking for my sister, as she's currently having an argument with her boyfriend regarding this issue where her boyfriend video calls his female bestfriend, when my sister actually told him that they cna just text but why would they need to video call...

Everyone is different. I had a two different friends at one point who had boyfriends with a close female best friend. One friend was cool with how close her boyfriend was to his best friend and didn’t mind the phone calls and video calls, the other friend dumped her boyfriend because she was really uncomfortable with his prioritization of his friend. It’s all about what sits well with your sister. If she doesn’t like him doing that then she doesn’t need outside validation to have those feelings. The issue comes in when he doesn’t compromise with his girlfriend and verbally fights to continue the video calls. Things change once you’re in a relationship, and he should put your sisters feelings first.

Nope I'm not blind. I myself have never been in a relationship so I couldn't help her. Her boyfriend kept convincing her saying that its alright for him to do so as he knows his limits

Yea I honestly feel sad for my sister as his boyfriend has a girl bestfriend whom he will tend to contact, and will keep convincing my sister to not worry as he said he know his limits.
