I know it sounds like a buzz kill but I'd make it clear to him beforehand that you're not coming over for sex. That way if he tries it on and gets upset/angry you can know for certain he's a bellend that's not worth seeing again.
Be very open and upfront before going over and when you are at his place that you don't want to do anymore than cuddling and maybe some kissing. Hopefully he is a good guy and will stick to that. But it's always a risk.
