Husband all of a sudden very affectionate?

Hello! So my husband has been less affectionate the past couple months, he usually was very romantic.
he's been very depressed with his job and I'm always trying to do everything I can to lift his spirits up. Recently I have noticed a drastic change he's being affectionate and he sends me more texts throughout the day when he used to barely text me.
Saying things like "let's be romantic this weekend" " I still get butterflies when I think of you" maybe he is realizing how special I am to him?
I am a bit weirded out cause I'm not used to it. I hope this isn't a sign of wanting to commit suicide though. Let me know what you think thank you 😊

Maybe he is self-aware and he has realized that he hasn't been an ideal husband for a while. Maybe the stress at work is gone or he has grown accustomed to it, and now he is trying to make it up to you for the negativity you had to endure.

I frankly don't get how you jumped to suicide, but he is your HUSBAND, so maybe you should try and talk to him? Just say something along the lines of "I like you this way; all romantic and lovey-dovey; welcome back" and see how he responds and take it from there. Don't be confrontational is what I am trying to say. After all, he is not doing something bad or unwanted (correct?).

hell girl what you have there could either be very good or very bad but were not here to influence your mind and maybe fuck up something very good. what you do now is:
enjoy that he is coming back and putting some effort in showing that he wants you and still believes you were the right girl to fill the relationship hole. there is nothing bad about it in fact you are one of a lucky woman to not have sought for men who don't care about their waifus

He must feel bad that he hasn't been the best husband for quite sometime and is trying to be a little more positive in the marriage since he's been so depressed and I'm sure it was depressing you too.

I don't think it has anything to do with suicide. I'd accept his behavior, and help him make this marriage even better than before. You fell in love with that side of him in the beginning, you might just fall in love all over again. :)

Maybe he started feeling guilty about the fact that he had been neglecting you. That or he did something really bad and he's texting you a lot in order to compensate.

Yes sir he is in the military. He's 20. Very normal in the military world, cause you never know what may happen.
