Guys, he's too nervous to talk to me? What can I do?

How can I make this shy guy I like comfortable talking to me? Every time I initiate conversation with him, he seems very excited to talk but then suddenly cuts off the conversation in the middle and kinda runs away.

Once I had called him over to talk to me in person, he blushed like crazy and became tongue tied after saying a few words. Same was the case when I tried talking to him on phone, he started rambling, talking fast and was saying one thing or the other, really was not making any sense and then he suddenly hung up on me.

Texting is out of the question, he doesn't like to text at all. He hardly uses messaging applications like Whatsapp. I really want him to get comfortable with me but he's just too nervous around me.

What can I do? He gives all the signs that he likes me but just can't talk to me for more than a few seconds.

Try to meet with him in a place where you're alone: maybe anpark or something like that where you're not on the public eye. It's a lot less "scary" to talk with someone when it's one on one than if you feel everybody is looking.

When you're talking, even if at first he seems a little silent or talks too much, just keep talking normally and little by little he'll calm down and let it flow... worst case scenario if he starts to 'panic' remember him that it's just you, nobody else is there, and tell him to calm down (not like an order more... sweet xD)

But why does he start panicking so much? He literally runs away. I'm getting kinda annoyed now. 😐

Is it okay if I keep initiating conversation with him? We've only talked to each other 3 times.

Thing is is that I'm very shy as well so it's not easy for me to keep initiating conversation again and again and he acts like an idiot every time I do, so I feel pissed off now.

That I don't know. I'm assuming that you know he's interested.
Why he's shy? I don't know, maybe you're pretty, maybe he has social anxiety, maybe he prefers Coke Zero to regular Coke. I'm just advising you based on what would work for me (I'm also extremely shy, introverted and panic when speaking with girls xD)

Yeah I know that he's definitely interested. I didn't mention this in the details but yeah I get a lot of attention from guys and everyone thinks I'm very attractive.

Keep doing it and I'm shorter gaps. So talk to him a small periods but a lot.
So have short Convos and then he'll get comfortable

It's not desperate to talk about generic things.
Desperation only relates to situations where he doesn't like you and you like him.
He'd be glad if you did talk to him more.
Once you initiate enough you can relax because hell start initiating afterwards that's how it was for me and this girl initially
