How do I talk to him when I'm too scared and nervous?

Hey I'm in trouble at the moment. There's a guy in my class and I really really like him but I get too nervous around him that I walk away. He wanted to talk to me once but I acted really cold and walked away. I also think he must've felt bad because I was chatting to a boy next to him. I think I'm coming off too cold. I asked my best friend what he felt about me and he said that I must really dislike him. He's been getting a lot more distant as well. I don't dislike him at all! But you know the feeling of not being able to be in a room with someone you like and running away from them? Any help?

And every other age. It's fucking awful. I'm over here trying to have a basic conversation about... cashews, or chicken nugget dipping sauce, or some other shit; and she's sitting there like a deer in the headlights, like she's the victim in a hostage negotiation.

I can't tell if she wants to fuck me or stab me.

They do, yeah. And the reason the guy is acting nervous around you is because he finds your behavior super creepy. He's getting flirty and off-putting vibes from you at the same time. It is deeply uncomfortable to be on the recieving end of.

Feeling comfortable with awful behavior just because it's common is probably not what you should aspire to. All you can do is live and learn though, right?
