Why do guys unfriend girls they find attractive on Snapchat?

There is this guy that I met on a dating site. We followed each other on snapchat and we began texting. He's a young military man who is stationed in another country. We flirted, he called me cute, would ask me to be friends with benefits, and would ask me to visit him. He would always watch my stories, without missing any. Most girls would find him attractive (muscular and has colored eyes), and I've seen many girls show interest to him on his social media profiles. One day I posted a snapchat story of me and he suggested that I send him a nude picture. I ignored his text for a whole day and posted another snapchat story all the while not responding to his text. The next day I found out that he unfriended me, but I can still see his posts. My question is: Would a guy unfriend me because I ignored him about nudes? Was it because he was scared to come off as creepy? Or is it because I seemed boring to his sex-drive?
