I'm a male feminism and I'm proud of it. I think guys who belittle this are unsecure about themselves and fail to recognize the importance of gender equality. Guys can and should be feminists.
It depends what they believe. There are different academic beliefs regarding the best form of feminism.

There's many sects of feminism but for most the core view is about bringing women's rights equal to mens' on the basis of them benefiting from the patriarchy (something like that). I literally hard Emma whatever her name is talking about some issue women have that men has as well and then she said how female genital mutilation is still a problem. No mention of males having their parts cut though. No females are mutilated in western countries (at least not in hospitals). I've never heard a feminist advocate for men. Notice the 'womens' march.' It's about women in reality. I'm not being bitter. That is just reality. If it's not about women, change the name then.
1) the issue of FGM and MGM are completely different. FGM is done to control women’s sexuality, men’s is literally for hygiene. not saying either is right, but FGM is rooted in misogyny and MGM isn’t. and also, it’s hilarious how a normal argument against feminism is that third world countries need it more, but when they say shit about FGM suddenly it’s not a bigger problem because men get circumcised in the US. 2) women don’t have to cater to your feelings. 3) mainstream white feminists are literally the worst people to look at. most feminists literally HATE laci green and the likes of her. feminism is so much deeper. toxic masculinity, homophobia, male victims of abuse, custody bias, etc. are all feminist issues. 4) the women’s march had men, women, trans people, LGBT people, holding their own signs. it’s expanded from women’s rights to something more inclusive.
So you're saying the intent for mutilation justifies it more? The hygiene argument is bullshit. You have labia that creates more smegma then men. Why don't doctors cut baby girls labia off? That's a horrible argument. Why does a root of a crime matter? Would current male babies be wronged more if females had ruled society 100 years ago? You may agree to a small sect of feminist ideology that isn't based on destroying the patriarchy in order to advance women. We all have mothers and sisters. I fail to understand what he's trying to help them for. If he lives in Saudi Arabia then I would be happy to join him, because I wouldn't want my women to be treated like cow and wear garbage bags (hijabs), I would also fight for them to be allowed to drive a car. Where I love we all live equally. Men get paid as mich as women and in fact women are having it way easier than us. Be it. They're happy. People want to blame everything for their own problems and failures. How likely is it that a non-competent and less then average looking woman complain about her low salary and that think that she's being treated inequally? A lot.
Truth is that she most likely is incompetent. Now how many of these types of women exist? Quite a lot. Hence, large protests like this.

but it is true that some companies only hire men/women for certain jobs: I'm a secretary/administrative and the other administratives are women as well where I currently work but in my previous job only men were in charge
to me, both cases are forms of sexism because their gender identity doesn't limit how well they can perform a job
People nowadays feel so entitled to things they do not necessarly deserve and like to blame their problems on completely unrelated things. There's difference between conveying a cause in a way that's consistent, fruitful and progress-oriented and going on messy protests with a victim mentality and acting all emotional.
You said some companies only hire men / women for certain jobs. You better try to think about the reason why they prefer one gender over the other for this specific position. Pretty much you would come up with a ln understandable reason. How absurd it is for people to think that others don't like / want them solely based on their gender?

The point in my example is, there are trait differences between men and women.
You've said that not everyone is supposed to fit a mold of what they're supposed to be according their gender, and I agree with that. There many women are stronger than men, and can do a good job on the frontline, but how many? Not enough.
So calling for a 50/50 ratio in this case is not a good ides.
This idea is flawed. Let's say I have a company and I want to recruit 100 person, regardless of their gender. 200 person appliesm 100 men. And 100 women. But somehow, the number of women that fitted our criteria is 80, while the man only 20, and the rest of them don't have what it takes to work with us. Result is: I hire 80 good women and 20 good men.
Ofcourse some men will get angry, start calling for a 50/50 ratio and start accusing us of favoring women. This is one of the flawed ideas what people are protesting for.
So not only there are trait differences which should be taken into consideration, but also situations like the one above.

as a cashier there would ONLY be women, if a man applied for the job he would 👉 that's sexism
and only men where hired as supervisors, if a woman applied for the job she would be turned down for the simple fact that he is a man even if she had been a cashier her whole life 👉 that's sexism
and where I currently work at ONLY women are hired as administratives and we take orders straight from the owner because he prefers to deal with women

I'm definitely with you on that. Lucky for me, we've always had mixed staff throughout all positions in every company I've worked at, whom they amount to no less than 10 different companies. I live in what's considered a third world country, and that makes me wonder why does such a phenomenom still exist in the US.
