Would a guy delete his Snapchat because of a girl he has feelings for?

I just started talking to a dude and he hardly has any points on Snapchat so when he asked for mine And snapped me, I was excited. We went on a date already too. But then over the weekend he deleted his Snapchat. I thought he deleted me but he reappeared on Monday. Now I'm thinking, since I heard a girl say she deleted her Snapchat because of a guy, that maybe he deleted his because of a girl, so he wouldn't see her activity since he likes her a lot or something. Could this be or are there other things?

I deleted a girl on snap cause she was my ex and I really liked her but she didn't wanna commit to any kind of relationship. I later found out she could commit with someone else so I couldn't take it anymore.

I've done it just because I felt low and didn't wanna talk to anybody. Did the same with fbook. Meant nothing personally to anybody.
