Why is my teacher ignoring me?

Well my teacher is ignoring me since 2 weeks. He is a great teacher and I am good student as well. I just don't know why. NOTHING at all happened that might make him start ignoring me this way. He won't even look me while teaching nowdays.

What do you think could be the reason?

I am sure nothing out of the blue happened. Its all been going the same.

Could be that you take too much time from him and it's affecting his ability to teach the rest of the student. Why can't you go up and speak to him after class?

Not intending to be insulting but your question does sound like something you'd ask about your boyfriend not teacher.

No I don't really ask him questions. The ignoring thing is making me harder to get my doubts cleared after class.

Yeah I think my question might seems to other like a "love" one but its not that. I think this site be making it sound a little like that. Anyway, no one likes to be suddenly ignored by a teacher who has been teaching you everyday for 2 years.

I don't understand what you mean by ignoring you then it's a bit vague. Can you give an example of how he's ignoring you?

Not that it matters really. You need to handle this with him and the school. Us here are more or less making stuff up.

So all of us have to get our project personally reviewed by him. For everyone in class who has approached him till now, he has the time. But when I did (i tired twice-thrice), he always waves me of to later.
Another example I can think of rn is that there is a lot of time when he takes round around the class and checks what everyone is doing, except me. Its like I am invisible. The other day, I was sitting right in front of him, and he did not look at me once!
Also, he is usually strict about paying attention during roll call and tells off a student who doens't respond. But it NEVER matters with me. He lets me go off with blink. Its getting annoying. Its normal for students to look at a teacher while they are teaching and until a while back, he returned the look once in a while, but nowdays, its a total NO. I feel neglected because he is a really good teacher and I do need to get my doubts cleared without feeling weird about it.

Right clears a lot up. Here's what I'd do.

1. Go talk to the teacher, say you are feeling neglected in the class.
2. If he still waves you on go to his superiors.

That's all you can do in the situation.

My guess is that he's strongly attracted to you and is trying hard to be professional by not paying too much attention to you. I could be completely wrong about this.

Could be one of two things:
1. He's secretly attracted to you but ignoring you to remain professional and not risk losing his job.
2. You're doing so well in his class he figures you don't need his help. Nothing personal against you. (Most of the time it's this one.)

Yes, I have the same problem. he's my math teacher. he always checked how the others are doing except me, even I'm sitting right in front of his desk. he's always play a joke with my friend who's sit beside me. but he's rarely talk to me. i'm kinda introvert person I don't talk a lot and always pay attention to his class. it's seem like he's avoiding me or something.

I need to get my doubts clear (there's a lot), get my lab project reviewed by him and a whole lot. It doesn't feel easy when he is ignoring you

Then just casually go, "hey, just want to check with you, is there anything I did wrong recently?"
Cause if it's nothing, it's quite an easy thing to check with him.
He'll probably recalibrate if he did it intentionally.
