Why is my teacher ignoring me?

My teacher is suddenly ignoring me. He used to ask me if I can understand and used to pick me to answer even if my hand isn’t up and always used me for examples in the class and also complimented on my work always asked about my grades and helped me … Even I get good marks in his subject. But suddenly he started ignoring me. I didn’t do anything to annoy him or make him angry. He is one of my favorite teacher and He’s been so kind to me throughout this year - He don’t usually associate much with students , he himself once said that he don’t trust students but he was closely associating with me. Whenever he needs a help he asks me to do that. I can’t understand why he is ignoring me. It’s sudden And I didn’t do anything wrong. Why might he be ignoring? ( You guys might say I’m overthinking - But no - at the beginning I didn’t like him because he was rude but lately , He’s been too much kind and close for me than with other students … It’s sudden and I don’t understand why he js ignoring now.. )
