Do guys judge girls based on how many Instagram followers they have?

It seems like most pretty girls have tons of Instagram followers but if a girl doesn’t have very many followers maybe less than you do you judge them

No, I advise you quit using social media, what is the purpose of it? I quit using it as it caused me some jealousy really and was not a benefit to my life. It is a negative thing and a narcissistic machine! I am not saying you are, but be mindful of what you are doing! I mean, just ask yourself frankly,

What have I gained from this?
Do I need this, or am I dependent on this for gratification?
Do I seek validation from others?
Do you find yourself taking photos of yourself often?
Do you compare yourself to others often?
Do you find yourself feeling jealous or insecure?

If you answered yes to any of the DO questions I would seriously recommend quitting. I mean the purpose of social media is to be more social not to create more division in our lives! I quit using it because I was so focused on what should be on my story, thinking about how I look to others, and I was so focused creating this imagine of myself that I became so self conscious and insecure over it. "Do they like what I posted, should I say this or that, is that funny, etc. etc. etc." it is a terrible game. The social media marketers know this too, don't believe they actually care, they know it is addictive.

I hope you decide to quit using it, it is quite freeing to not use it because you have privacy! Amongst other things I will mention later! Social media is good for attention and validation, however that is the exact problem! Don't seek validation from others. If anything just take that with you, Don't seek validation from others! Views, follows, likes, they are meaningless. What do you have left over once the screen is shut off?

What to gain from quitting?
Privacy! - You get to keep parts of your life to yourself, no one needs to know every event you do! Keep your memories cherished, not uploaded to your story!
Joy/Freedom! - No more stress, anxiety, or worry about being "good enough" (you have more value than you know!)
Self Development - You focus on being genuine and what matters to you, besides getting validation from others.

The cons may be that it is slightly harder to get in contact, so if someone has to text or call to get to you so be it. Also, you may not know everything that is going on, so what. Drama doesn't help, focus on yourself not other people. Also not being online will help you and have something to talk about it person.

Obviously I am against social media. I think the more a girl uses it, the less I find her attractive. No one needs it, it is useless!

That sounds ridiculous. Firstly most guys I know apart from the really effeminate types don't use Instagram or any of that kind of stuff. We also don't care how many followers you have online, why would we? It's not real life. Too many people place too much importance on how much random strangers they'll never meet like them, and it's just not good for you at all. It makes absolutely no sense because it says nothing about you as the person you really are. I could understand a 12 year old thinking this way maybe but a 21 year old? I think this just goes to show how much social media has fucked people up.

I prefer a girl who spends more time in the real world and less time on social media. Fewer followers says to me that you aren't a slave to how people perceive you, you aren't an overly dramatic person, and you will make more time for your friends and family.

If people are stupid enough to judge you based off how sexy you are in your photos or even the number of people who like your photos, they probably aren't the kind of people you want associate with.
