Why would you hide your smile sometimes? What does it mean when a girl does this?

OK, I've been looking for an answer on this common behavior, but haven't found anything. Is there a special meaning to the whole "woman looking back at you over her shoulder as she walks away and flashing you the biggest smile you ever seen?" Lets say we are talking and as she walks away she may call you a name or make a witty remark and look back at you like that and see your reaction? Or if she has her back towards you while you are talking, she keeps looking back, smiling and giving you eye contact? What about when you say something funny and she tries really hard not to smile, but you see her that she is about to crack up? Why would you hide your smile sometimes? This girl I really like keeps doing all this but I want to be sure I'm into something before I ask her out, thanks for the advice

The main issue is that she rarely initiates a conversation. It isn't much of a problem cause I've noticed that as soon as I approach her and say her name, she gets the biggest smile I've ever seen on her face. It would be nice to at least be approached ha

In my experience, if I were to do something of the sort, I would be interested in the guy at least a little bit and I would be trying to gauge what kind of interest he has in me. Is he still looking back at me if I turn around? I might smile because I'm embarrassed, but also happy that he is looking my way still. Same deal with trying to hide my smile when you crack a joke. I don't want to seem overly interested and I'm nervous for what he thinks of me/my laughing (is it too loud, does it sound funny, do I look crazy?)

I would say ask her out. there's a fairly good chance she likes you based on the amount of signals she has given you. Seriously, you have nothing to lose so I would go for it. I believe that she is coyly flirting with you.

Don't you think that when we are born we should come with manuals? Like I would have loved it if my father gave me a manual on women and had me read it. Since I am not telepathic though, I will always not know what the hell they're trying to accomplish.

Witty remarks would mean she's teasing and the frequent eye contact would mean you have her attention. The amazing smile means... well you make her smile lol. To sum things up, she more than likely likes you.
