I've noticed lately that they think the high maintenance girl is hot but prefer to be in a relationship with the low maintenance laid back woman. Why?

Usually they are not worth the effort.

It depends on the individual man. But I'd also be hesitant to categorise individual girls as high or low maintenance. People are complicated.

Cause nobody got time for that.

Nothing wrong with high maintenance, unless the behaviour is not rude and abusive

it's a huge investment for no return.

I think the answer to this question is pretty obvious.

The high maintenance girls I know are annoying.

I like that type of girl because she is more attractive

  oh. I say 'no return' but I misspoke. There is something to say about having a girl with a seemingly excessive amount of dignity in public (which is how I would define high maintenance), then getting her alone to find she is shameless and disgraceful in the bedroom
