Sometimes there is this sort of need for "revenge" or I guess you could call it "rebounding" I am still not over my last girlfriend breaking up with me but we dated for almost a year and a half and that was 4 years ago I dont think guys move on so quickly but there is another thing if you broke up with him he most likely will be devastated where as it is so much easier to move on if it was him who broke up with you.

No. I think it means he’s trying to fill a void quickly and doesn’t want to sit in his thoughts and feelings about not being with someone. If they move on quickly it means they’re still in more pain. Maybe even more pain then you.

Context is important. How long was the relationship, did he break up with her or the other way around, was he happy, it could just be a spite thing. All depends.

The relationship was almost two years, they broke up over a fight with text and no one has contacted the other since! Now he has a new girlfriend after just 2-3 weeks
