Why does he always want me to call him?

I'm talking to a guy (my crush) and whenever we're texting his always asking me to call like he can be so demanding his always like "can you call me now."

I don't mean to be a bit harsh but he sounds like someone who knows you like him and takes advantage of that. I would tell him that you guys should take turns calling and if he doesn't come to the party, he doesn't sound like a person worth dating because he will very likely have the same lack of enthusiasm in a relationship anyway.

3 reasons one he is lazy or 2. He is showing off to other guys or 3 the side chick or he is being goto get someone jelliousy. If I were you drop him he is not worth the time a day. If he is not putting any initiative then why bother. If a woman does that to me on the third try I'm gone. I got now time for any time of games.

You can't be sure untill you ask him directly... Just during a normal conversation ask him and judge his response as per his body language not words... it can showing off, low data or may be he just wants to hear your voice and he doesn't wants to disturb you by making a direct call ( if you give a call after he texts means you are available or you are busy)

He needs to talk to you ok but want to regulary or you had some significant phases of silence, by who..

About your first talks and texts, had he the same attitude or more involved, listen better, longer willingy.

Maybe, he just wants to hear your voice.
Maybe, he like talking better than texting.
Talking is a better communication than texting, it can tell you the different things about the person on the other side.
You can always ask him why does he wants you to call and see what he replies.
If you don't want to call then, just say no to him.

Why doesn't he just call you? I would know my girlfriend schedule like she would know mine. I would just call them if I knew they where not busy. I would text them "CALL ME" or anything. I would call them and talk to them even if it was just to hear rhere voice.

I would be annoyed! I had a girlfriend that did that and i got so tired of it when she woukd text me to call her I would call her names. It end right along side the relationship. I wasn't sorry
