This guy friend treats me like shit even though i am the nicest person in the world to him and i do a million things for him without expecting and getting anything in return.
i want to stop being the goody good girl. Please help me make him feel unimportant so he gets a taste of his own medicine. Thanks

You sound just as bad as him. Best way to kill someone is through kindness and NOT letting yourself become a bitch. By you letting yourself not say something (or giving him the outburst/reaction he wants) you've instantly failed. The best way to hurt someone is to NOT blow up, and to not act as you're currently doing right now.

Here's what I would say to someone, if I should ever feel "unappreciated": "You know what? Frankly, I don't think we should be friends anymore -- or even acquaintances. I've helped you, and despite me not looking for anything in return, it hurts seeing you dismiss me. It doesn't feel like appropriate behavior towards me, your friend. So I think it's best we just stop whatever we're doing." Then, end. Oof. Not too hard, yeah?

(Also, quick reminder, just because you do shit for them, doesn't mean they have to do anything for you)

Just ignore him, and I mean really be uninterested in anything he has to say. If he talks to you just say okay smile and zone out. Walk away in the middle of his talking and act oblivious to what you're doing. Just act like you're in your own head and not paying attention to him. You will eventually truly learn to switch on bitchmode.

2.) Ignore the rest of this comment
3.) Request things of him which he may actually want to do for you.
4.) Make the problem disappear before he can solve it for you: find someone else to do it quicker than he will, or do it yourself.

The quickest way to make someone feel unimportant is to make them think that they are important and then taking that away. This is really a cruel thing to do, and I'm asking you to not do this, so please don't be a malicious monster. I don't think you'll feel any better

If you don't expect anything in return then why are you pissed? You're pissed because actually you do expect or want something maybe you don't realise it but you do. You have to look inside yourself and be honest with yourself.

What you should do is stop expecting something. Be nice to him or don't but don't expect anything back from him either way. It will make your life better if you do things if they turn out well or not because then you'll do things that you really want to do and not for any other reason ^^.

Trying to replicate his treatment back on him for revenge will likely either backfire or won't work, hence more wasted time on the jerk. Chalk it up as a lesson learned and to not let 'friends' ever treat you that way again.

Slowly stop responding to him, men hate when women don't respond properly.
Criticize him, on his hair, clothes, what he drives, his watches. His life choices.
Take a step further and ask him about his work and pretend to carefully listen and then start bringing out flaws in his work ethic, his job.
Attack his self esteem subtly, and he'll eventually ghost out on you or he'll try to degrade you but don't let it hurt you.
Keep him ALWAYS on the defensive avoid letting him go on the offense

Making a guy feel unimportant can only ever be a group effort. One person on their own doesn't matter. If he feels like you don't think much of him he'll go find someone who does. There's not a lot you can really do besides verbally insult him which... let's face it that's simply not the best idea.

Simple: STOP TALKING TO HIM!

If he is a classmate, curtly answer any questions he asks you directly. If he tries to start conversation, answer in one/two word answers that abruptly end conversation or force the burden of continuing conversation on him. This has a two fold effect. The first is that it shows you don't get a damn anymore. The second is that OTHERS see him starting this garbage and going on by himself. It's not a back and forth, it's visibly him being an ass.

okay this had actually been acase of maah best friend. try to relate urself to it , if you cud... dats gud of it. mah friend actually has a crush on a girl and she,,, so is supposed to treat him not really nice... she use to turn down his requests saying she isn't in a mood of doin so... she neglects his calls... messages back really late... prefering someone else on his place making sure he notices it for forming groups. its funny to look at his condition but dat was just it. i would like to advice you to simply relace the person if it hurts you enough. it will jst help you not changing your attitude. some day the guy would realise. leave him on his conditions... hope it will help you a bit!!!
