First time dads can be overprotective. Get him to have a word with a medical professional to set his mind at rest.
Please remember that, although it is you carrying the baby, he will feel all of the anxiety and insecurity of becoming a parent as you do. But he has no control over the situation whatsoever so he can do next to nothing to mitigate any fears he has.
Please discuss and share every step of your pregnancy with him including what clothes to buy for the baby when it arrives, how to decorate the nursery and even how you will give birth. Make him a part of every experience throughout.
My congratulations to you both!
Yes it is normal, illogical but normal. Even the well educated in the workings of reproductive process have a twinge of that thought. It as you well know is plenty fine and safe to engage willy-nilly in the fine art of banging You must show him a book or some you tube about it. for proof.
Its normal. Men go through the pregnancy too- my husband gained 20 lbs and was moodier than I was. He threw up every morning and refused to have sex with me.
My doctor told him what's going to happen, she's already pregnant, you can't hurt the baby while having sex, etc
Have your man go to the doctor with you or make an appt to talk to your doctor and have a sit down talk. After he knows that everything will be ok, he'll be more comfortable.
Just try not to take it to heart or believe that he doesn't want you.
Tell him you would be more worried about the baby grabbing on and pulling him in! That’s why you have stop at 7 months! Babies have a strong hand grip! Lol 😂
I don’t think it will last long. He is 23. Young, horny and in love. He will be begging for sex in a month... 2 tops!

He needs to get over it. You can have sex right up until the baby is born. Hell, it's an old wives tale that sex triggers contractions at the end of your pregnancy. If he's not comfortable laying on top of you test out other positions (doggy, side by side, spooning, you on the bed him standing). And reassure him that he's not going to poke the baby or anything! Your cervix is in the way of that.
His kid comes before his dick; what better could you want?
Lol. Yes. Y'all are gonna be in for a rough ride if he don't man up. I've been with two pregnant women, my wife and ex, and both were horny as hell through their pregnancies. He's not gonna touch the baby. Your cervix is closed, and it's impossible for him to touch the baby. Take him with you to your next appointment with your obgyn, and have your on explain it.
Yes. It's very common. besides, it is a little uncomfortable to have sexual intercourse with a pregnant woman. On the other hand, the woman gets very sexy with pregnancy belly. For the unhappiness of the Men, the women lose the horniness in this period and usually do not want to have sex.
It's common enough that it comes up fairly often but seriously at ten weeks? The fetus is the size of a golf ball. He's not going to poke anything.
This is very normal and u shouldn't be worried about cheating issues because he sounds like a great and dedicated father. If it's tht big of a problem to u then have u considered toys
He's probably has so much anxiety that he'll hurt the baby that he can't get aroused. Even tho he won't hurt the baby he's being over protective of your guys child.
My ex-husband was like that too when we found out I was pregnant with our son. Eventually he came around and realized it wasn't going to hurt the baby. Just give it time.
It's actually a pretty natural response. Pregnancy is, put simply, weird and icky to men. They don't want to put their penis in where a child is growing (basically what their mind says)
Ask him to come to the doctor with you. Ask the doctor if its okay to have sex and have them address his concerns
Yeah he is overprotective a bit. At least I hope he satisfies you in other ways so you won't get crazy.
It’s normal, but it’s also pretty stupid.
That’s literally why the cervix exists.
He may be afraid cause your pregnant i wouldn't let it get me down.
Its impossible to poke the baby. But easy calm sex is preferred when pregnant.
It does not hurt the baby i am 6 months pregnant and we have sex without any problems.
Ya its ok
It's normal
