So me & my guy friend became close last year our junior year. He would write poetry & he would share his poetry with me,ask me for advice on it.We started to talk again in the month of December before winter break.He was asking a mutual friend for my number.I ended up giving him my number & he gave me his.He ended up writing 8 songs about me,describing me,using my name in each song he made.Also saying in the songs things like "i can't live without u,i love you boo,and your only mine and I'm yours."
Over winter break we would text about 2-3 times a week.But the conversations over text would last 2-5 hours nonstop.We would text until about 4 in the morning at times.
He told me that he was on his way to a gathering I asked him if he wanted me to leave him so that he can get ready and so that I won't interfere,his response was "i never interfere and that I should quit worrying about it :)."We started talking more.Our next text conversation was about Xmas and what I wanted.We were arguing back and forth for about 3 hours because he wanted to know what I wanted for Xmas and vice versa I asked why it was so important to know and he said it just is.I was asking him a lot of questions about this website he was on and apologized for annoying him and he said "u can never annoy me" I told him that was sweet and he said its the truth.He described me as pleasant,patient,nice,soft spoken. He started off a conversation by saying"hey small mama,yea I said small because little is derogatory"(which I still don't understand what he meant)
He goes out of his way to hug me(sees me in my class walks in hugs me & then leaves before he's late to his class.)When he hugs me he starts by rubbing his hand on my waist until he reaches all the way around and hugs me tight.He can hug me up to 3 times a day randomly out of nowhere.When I sit next to him & don't talk or when I don't say goodbye to him he says that he's heart broken & what type of friend I am.
He asked me to skip my 5th period class to stay with him because he wanted me to stay with him because he was sick and we stayed together until he went home early.He didn't want to hug anyone because he didn't want to get them sick & only hugged me before he went home.That same week I skipped my 5th period again for my best friend.At the beginning of class my friends & I were listening to the teachers joke.We walked over to where he was with 2 other guys & my friends decided to tell them the joke.He said "if its not funny I'm gonna have to slap somebody except you Marilyn(my name btw)."Then he was beating/rapping on a desk with this guy.He stops I'm behind him he's sitting on a chair he puts his hands in the air and hugs me over the chair from my waist and pulls me close and my head is on his head leaning on him.At that moment since our faces were really close I felt like kissing him.So I made an excuse and told him to stop because I felt he was fall over the chair.
SO...Is this the behavior of a guy friend?
