Should I message this girl again??

Basically I met this girl through Facebook (Long and irreverent story)

I started messaging her and we had quite a few great chats, and I for one thought we had quite a lot in common.

I even asked her if she wanted to hang out some time and she seemed to like that idea (or maybe she just didn't have the heart to reject me hmm?)

Anyways, few days ago it was her B-Day and all of a sudden she stopped messaging me. I wished her happy birthday and also made a short mention that she ought to message me back sometime.

She said she would, and that its just because she's too busy right now. She promised she would in a few hours. Its been a few days and still not a peep from her. I've been thinking whether she forgot or she just didn't want to message me back :S

Ive been debating whether or not to message her again since I kinda like her and have been considering the possiblity of asking her out after we actually meet and hang out and all goes great. I mean, I do know other girls who also wanna hang out and stuff, but I kinda really like this girl because she's got much more in common with me.

Should I message her again? And if so what should I say?

Any woman is too busy for some guy that isn't worth their time. While that may sound harsh, I'm trying to say that if she really cared she would have time for you. I actually use the same excuse for girls I'm not interested in. The truth is, you are not real to her, you haven't even met. It is possible she would be into you if you met, but in the meantime you have shown her that you somehow care and need her without having even met her (doesn't that show your own perceived value versus hers?) Truthfully, looks like you are a little needy with her, and without having met that is that much worse. By putting her on a pedestal you've set yourself up for failure. My opinion is this: leave this one alone for quite some time, and message her back in a week or 2 if she hasn't responded. In that case you should go really slow, and DO NOT SMOTHER. If she writes you 2 lines, don't respond with 2 pages. Hang out as soon as possible so you both can figure each others value (remember, it's not just about winning her, she has to win you). After a few convos tell her you are going somewhere, and she should come by to (bar, or whatever). MAke it short, and informal, and don't go into traditional date retoric. IF this one doesn't work out, try to be less needy with the next. Good Luck!

It's happened with me before and I stopped talking to the females. In the end, they rarely respond back.

Just leave her alone.

It'll make you seem clingy when you send a daily message over... give her some time to REPLY TO YOU FIRST.

I've been meeting guys from online for a loooong time and I personally find that guys time schedules tend to move much faster than mine. They are always way more comfortable meeting right away than I am. That being said if they tend to be pretty persistent I get disinterested and start to back off.

Maybe she did forget and maybe she has met someone recently she is more interested it. The fact of the matter is that because she hasn't met you, it's harder for you to take precedence over those that are already in her life. It's nothing personal! It's just how it is.

Instead of messaging her, send her a poke, like a status or picture. Something not so direct as a message and then if she doesn't reply. Shoot her a standard, "hey how was your weekend?" message.

Be relaxed and casual about it. If you drawn attention to the fact that you were bothered that she never replied when she said she would, you be making her feel as though she has an obligation to you, when she really doesn't and that leads to idea that there are expectations and that never goes well.

Really, if something is meant to be, it will happen. Lame but true. I always gun for the guy who is patient and understanding with me, because that makes me feel I can just be myself with no pressure. :)

i would honestly say don't message her back because the more you message her the more she'll feel like your hovering her, or shell get the feeling like your stalking her. and if youve tried talking to her and she won't asnwer back I say she's not worth your time and as like shortnugget said "the are plenty of fish in the sea." you just have to find the one that likes spending time talking and being with you.

also my friend said if you do get back into contact with her, just to take things slow because shell get the feeling of you being pushy and stalkery

I think that you should wait a couple of days to message her. A simple "hey how are you doing? I know you're busy but I miss talking to you and hope that he can catch up sometime soon when you have time. Just let me know." If she doesn't reply to that then leave it be and find a new girl to spend your time on. If she doesn't respond to that then it sounds like she's just not into you. There's no point in wasting your time and effort on a girl who isn't interested.

Wow what a coincidence I'm in the SAME situation as you...and it sucks. But I think I know the reason she won't talk to me. but just wait and after a few days if she doesn't answer you message her. If she doesn't answer then don't bother to talk to her. If you would like to talk more about the situation, just send me a message I believe we can aid each other or I can help you at least.

All these people telling you that you'll seem clingy are ignorant. There's nothing clingy about messaging a girl a couple times a week.

If she keeps flatlining you, it's time to move on.

If it were me, I'd think you were a little clingy already, not the type of person who I'd want to go out with.

Try waiting for her to come to you; I know it's difficult, but playing hard to get is sometimes worth it.

Don't evereact. Just because she doesn't answer you right away does not mean she hates you or anything. She might be busy, besides if you spam text her she'd prob freak out.

I'd say go for it.

You're not being clingy if you wait a few days between messages. And there is no harm in sending her a message, but keep it light. A simple "how was your week?" or "sh*tty weather we're having eh?" will suffice

There is a good possibility that she did honestly forget to message you or has been busy, especially if its the week of her birthday.

Sure why not. As a girl I like to now that I'm on his mind, it's flattering. Just a simple "hay what you up2?" will do. She may like you, might not be as much as you like her so she might not rush to reply. So after you send it, try not to hang around your computer or phone for a reply. Just sit bak and relax. If it's men't to be she'l reply :-)
