How do I calm my boyfriend's ADHD when he's hyper?

Hide the candy , don't lose patient with him and make sure you don't lose site of him he should calm down and fall a sleep if not Hugs work to put though kind down to sleep only thing, you got to care for him not hug and then go into sex. Like a mother would hug a hurt child.

Sugar doesn't make you hyper. It's just a placebo/nocebo effect. When you teach your kids they gets hyper from sugar, they would believe it and act like it. If you said they would be hyper from broccoli, same thing would happen.

It's nothing you can do. He can either go out, participate in a sport and similar, but he has to want it or it won't work. Medication doesn't always help either. ADHD is as much a personality type as a diagnose. You choose to be his girlfriend, so you've to accept his personality as it's. If you can't, he may not be the right one for you and you've to find another guy.

Well I have ADHD and when I was young my ADHD was less controlled, to counter this my parents were strict on the sugar that I consumed and also if I did get hyper they would have me draw and listen to calm music like "Digital Daggers- Still Here" which I found a slow tempo that calmed me down.

I feel very sorry for him though :/
