It's either a yes or a no. If they say maybe then the answer is no. If they weren't sure on a set time they would say, and then try to negotiate a time.

But reading ur thing the way he said it for me when do like that is cause im annoyed at something not the person im talking to. But irl and the person would message me right as i am in the middle of a thing and i could answer short like that. But there is so many different variables that could be a factor. He doesn't like u. He is just trying to get into ur pants. He was in the middle of something. He was having a bad day. He is an idiot. Ask again. Learn now and learn it immediately if u can't talk to the other person in a relationship get the fuck out. Doesn't matter if u think ur in love. Worst case scenario ur left with a kid and no guy no real way to tale care of urself and the kid. Best case scenario he is a shy idiot that isn't aware of what that messsage could be interpreted as. it could go both ways or it could be ntin because all men hav a sense of ego... so it could be his ego jus a man thing... or he could be figuring it out whether to go for it or not that will mostly depends on if u all had sex of not...
