“Maybe” means yes/no? Should I continue?

I have been shooting my shot to a tinder guy in my school, he likes my first on Tinder so I find him cute, I like back.
He didn’t text me first, so I decided to make first moves. I get his SC so I text him 1st, sometimes he answers to my snap really fast, sometimes it takes half day (if I answer fast then he will do the same; if I don’t, he leaves me on delivery around the same time as I leave him😅)
I think he gives me mixed signals, the topic we talk before is NOT related, he suddenly asks when is the last time I have been w a guy and how many have I kissed?
I ask we should meet irl. But because we can’t see each other for a week so I decide to plan out the meeting before the conversation becomes awkward🤷‍♀️He says he can’t plan it too far away and says “maybe”.
Should I stop or should I continue? I think he’s really cute that why I tried to shoot my shot😩I never dare to do it
