It's true that men are often physically attracted to women in that age range, the range that they're MOST attracted to is probably best described as "college-age", which is roughly 19-24. I suspect that for the majority of men, if they were picking a girl just to have sex with, they would choose from this age range. Would some choose younger? Sure, and some older, but the majority would be going for those college-age girls.

When I was a teenager, I thought I would always find women in that age range the most attractive. But as it turned out, when I was in my 20s, I did think women in their 20s were the most attractive, and now in my 30s, my preferred age range has shifted up again.
I have no idea if the statement describes most men, but I'm voting no because my experience is that it's not true.

I think most men are attracted to some 15-19 and lots are probably attracted to lots in that range. But Ephebophilia goes beyond that and the word PRIMARY is key. Most men also find tons of 20-25 year old women attractive. You might convince me that average men like 18-23 best but no I don’t believe most men find average 15-16 year olds more attractive than average 21 year olds.
Personally, no. If you're saying "we want a younger woman", I'd agree, but only subconsciously, because that's how we are wired. Men are wired to procreate, and in our minds "younger" means "more fertile". In my opinion anyway
I went with false because this is just utterly unsubstantiated. If you said some men, sure. If you said a lot of men, maybe. Most? I'd need to see some major studies before I'd accept that and I'm not talking of 200 random males in a prison survey.

Men like young women. A lot of mid-late teens can easily pass for women in the early 20s and therefore men will find them physically attractive. Most would object to this when finding out they are underage because they don't want to be seen as a pedophile. This is much like how a lot of guys would object to finding an attractive cis-passing transwoman attractive upon learing that they are trans; they don't want to be seen as "gay."
I mean there's certainly fantasies that some have, but I definitely don't think most men identify or would be categorized as that, no.
