Why does my guy friend always avoid sitting next to me?

I have noticed this on multiple occasions.
He will go out of his way not to sit next to me

could be any one or combination of several reasons ranging from not wanting his friends to tease him to you wearing really strong perfume

we're a bunch of girls though and he chooses to sit next to them no problem, but will avoid sitting next to me

but would you give me some examples of possibilities

well you have two alrady but hers a few more even if it is just guesswork
nervous
doesn't want to fart next to you
is trying not to like you too much
he thinks he smells
he thinks you smell
just doesn't like that seat
or he doesn't like you as much as you think
but really it all depends on how he is with you when others aren't around and you know you always have the option of just asking him if it is getting to the stage of bothering you

Think about it; if he's truly your friend, what's a good reason for him to not sit with you? Is there a good reason?
