Guys, what are some signs a guy feels protective of you, even if you aren't dating?

I still don't know if this guy I like actually has feelings for me or not, it's hard to read him. So I wanted to know if there's anything a guy would subtly or unconsciously do to be protective of you when you aren't dating but he has feelings for you.

No, seriously. Everybody at world differently. Some guys get protective in that manner that they does not want to let girl walk alone in dark (because they think that's dangerous). Some does not care about that and protect her from emotional stress, so when anybody yells at her they step up and try to calm them down even though they are right. Some gets aggresive towards guys that they think are bad for you.

Anyway, it may look quiet differently with different guys.

Try this. Some day when you have late activity, tell him that you feel strange about today (tomorrow) and ask him if he could walk you home. That it would make you feel more secure. See what he does. He might say no (he might not be able to). But I guess you could read from his reaction what he feels about it. If he cares.

Try something similar. Tell him that you are afraid of some guy. Again, see what he does.

Tell him that you are stressed out by talking to a teacher and ask him if he could wait nearby, that it would make you feel less stressed.

This serves more purposes. You will see how he reacts. You will probably spend more time together if he react positively and he will feel more needed, appreciated and useful.

Don't be afraid that it will make you look bad (like you are weak or something). If you won't do it all the time but once in a while, then it will be all right.

Well if you can,t read him then y don,t you just go and ask him and tell him how you fill about him

guy are hard to read most of the time we don,t give a way much about us if you what to date this guy then be up front and tell him and that may be the way to find out if he has feelings for you what the worst thing that can happen that he tell you he just like as a friend if he dose have feelings for you are never going to know if you don,t ask

if you mention some other guy who is interested in you or something and they or he starts asking questions like who is this guy? kinda like how a dad would do...if he started acting slightly different like being nicer to you, texting you more, looking at you for a long time, or looking away when he sees you looking at him, him defending you if his friend says something goofy about you in front of him. ...also if he compliments you, like telling you that you smell nice or something.
