Why do I get scared when a guy shows interest in me?

He’s a genuinely kind man and has done everything I’ve ever wanted from someone to show me that he like me... and it scares me.

I feel like I should be excited that a man is treating me right for once in my life.

It's hard to take down walls we've built around ourselves, I mean we did build them for a reason. At some point we may meet someone that makes us think about opening a crack in the wall and its terrifying, but if you aren't willing to risk anything then you likely won't see any reward.

Well it's probably cause your not ready yet or from bad experiences. Find someone you trust without what ifs then go for it.

you're insecure and fearful of disappointing him and fearful of facing rejection should you open up to him. Basically just fearful of being hurt. Have some faith in yourself and open yourself up to the possibility of happiness and love.
