What does it mean when a guy says he's proud of a girl?

My crush today told me he was proud of me from moving on from my ex... could that mean he likes me?

Its a bit complicated, he might not be certain about you but considered you as his good friend and the way he said that he proud of you, It may taken as an expression of him saying he own you a bit. Things can happen between you guys take your time give him time. I think he wants to make you feel good. But he is not certain at all. know him and let him know you. A Good thing is you can be straight forward with him. If you guys could spend 2 months more together with same spark and he gives you hints that he like you, you can make a move. If he doesn't gives you hint then he just considered you as a good friend. And if any how the spark goes away then may be he just want casual things with you.
