I like it when girls tell me I did a good job at something. Like if I change a girls oil in her car and she compliments me and says "your so handy" that is sooo heartwarming. I dont even know that much about cars I can change oil, tires, and brakes and thats it but i know I like it when a girl wants me to be her handy man its a role that lots of men enjoy playing in some form or fashion.
Calling him handsome. Compliment his taste in music or his sense of fashion, dudes hardly ever get fashion advice or comments so recieving comments on your clothes means a lot. Compliment his intelligence or his bravery or his can do attitude. Any of those manly features we aspire to is always nice to be noticed by ladies.
Also make random physical observations that make him feel big. Stuff like "wow your hands are big" or "your so tall"
I like getting unique compliments. Like my ex told me she's always loved my forearms. Which she never said when we were together. Guys also like to feel useful, that we have value as a human in some way or another.
