Should I ghost him or no.. please help?

So I been talking to this guy for 6 months now , more casual than anything, I would go over his house almost everyday and we’d hangout, he has his own house but doesn’t have a car and I noticed he was talking Ubers to work so I told him if he ever needs ride , I have no problem taking him well he started asking me to take him and pick him everyday and he offered me gas money once , took him to work for 2 months straight... I had no problem until he finallly got his car and I notice the communication slowed down and he wasn’t inviting me over everyday now I didn’t want to jump to he was using me because I was the one that originally offered to take him to work and I know he’s busy w work and side hustles fast forward to a month later... his car broke down and his conversation w me is very frequent w me , even tried to start inviting me over more... and he ended up asking me to take him to work yesterday which he got a new job and this job is far.. like a 40 min drive to and back now I’m full of anger because I definitely feel used now and lowkey want to ghost him.. I like him a lot but I don’t want to make him feel bad about not having a car, and don’t want to bring up gas money cause he probably financially tight , trying to get his car fixed but he asked me to take him to work again and I’m annoyed he’s only in my face when he has a problem now so I was thinking about just ghosting him... I’m lost

Trust me, being left in the dark feels shitty and he will think you're an ass. Awkward or not, who cares, tell him and get it over with. Ghosting should never be the solution.

why you need to make it so complicated? thought at it as a good deed that you did. If you no longer feel like doing good deeds don't. You get what you see don't feel bad about it just take a mature decision. Sometimes doing good deeds is just nice.
