Im getting mixed signs. What should I do?

There is a guy that I used to text on Instagram and we would snap on Snapchat but recently he stopped and he would just leave me on seen and I asked him about it on Instagram and he still left me on seen. Im confused though because every time I see him he is either looking at me, going near me, showing off in front of me and sometimes watching what I am doing. Sometimes if he is talking to his friend or laughing he would turn to me. Sometimes I have looked in his direction and he has quickly turned his head or eyes. He has stood in front of me really close before. When his friend asked me a question asking if I have Snap he looked at me and another time he turned his head quickly. He is still doing these even though he doesn't respond to me anymore. But he is still reading them.

Recently he unfollowed me on Instagram but when I went to request to follow him again, he accepted and he didn't unfriend me on Snapchat. Im confused though because if he wanted to unfollow me on Instagram then why didn't he on Snapchat and why would he want to know what I messaged him if he won't respond. He was always viewing my stories and now he sees my Snapchat stories when I post. Which I am confused about if he unfollowed me on Instagram. Whenever I am around there is another girl she is always talking to him. But she mostly starts talking to him first. He doesn't really come up to her and talks to her but he answers her after she starts talking to him. But they have talked a lot when I am around and I have heard this guy say something about that girl to his friend when I was right next to them. I think he thought I was older then I actually was and I texted him saying my actual age but he didn't respond so I am not sure if he is embarrassed or not. I am not sure if he is trying to make me jealous by talking to her or if he is just shy to talk to me because he can talk to other girls fine. I don't get it but I am getting mixed signs now and I don't know what I should do.

Other than asking him, I don't know what else you could do. I am surprised though that you even still care because it sounds like he doesn't.

I don't know, but he seemed like a nice guy when we used to text and he used to text and snap back so I don't know why he stopped but I still see him look at me. It makes me feel like I did something wrong :( I just don't know if he is shy or not, but it doesn't seem like he has a crush on her. Like sometimes he doesn't make his way to talk to her but I don't know

Yeah thats true. But I don't know what I should say and I am a bit shy and I just don't see how I could get an opportunity to talk to him, maybe when he is alone and not with his friends. Do you think video calling or audio calling would be better?

It’s called negging, pretty nasty, it’s a way of screwing with girls and confusing them to get the upper hand, go find a nice guy that doesn’t play games.

I think you should absolutely ask him in person and just talk with him directly about it. Make the point to tell him you don't want to be stuck in limbo with weird signals. If he won't give you a straight clarification at that point you probably need to move on from him because chasing someone who doesn't know what they want will go on forever and may never have a conclusion.

If I get mixed signals from somebody I ask them straight up about what’s happening and what they want from me. Believe me it saves you a lot of time and thought.

Oh ok. When I asked him on Instagram like if he can be straight up with me about him not responding but then he left me on seen but he is constantly looking at me. Do you think I should ask him about it on text or in persin?

Yeah I don't know if he was playing me all along, but thats a waste of time for him. This has been going on for a few months but then he stopped texting recently. Thats a lot of effort to be playing me. But how do I talk to him? Like what do I say?
