Why did this guy suddenly delete all his likes on my instagram posts?

So there's this guy I like, but he has a girlfriend so I never made a move on him or anything because I wanted to be respectful. He does always like my posts and watch my stories. I recently started an online shop and I used the 'invite friends' feature for my business instagram page. So I just invited everyone that follows me to my new business instagram with a short message, and out of the blue he messages me back (I wasn't expecting messages back at all.) He told me he that he followed my new account and wished me good luck with my new business. Today I accidentally saw that he removed all his previous likes from my pictures. I don't know if this was prior to me messaging him or not though.. I don't know what to think now and to be honest I feel kind of bad knowing he went through all that trouble to delete all of his likes. Could it be his girlfriend that told him to do it? I know I should just forget it but it's really bothering me... Any advice?
