How can I find out if the friend I like is single?

We haven't seen each other for a while because we're both busy with work. I already checked his social media accounts but I found nothing coz he rarely posts anything. I thought about asking him directly but I don't want him to think I'm being weird. What should I do?

It's not just about the one job, such a thing is life ruining. He may like you and he may like you a lot, but you are kryptonite to him. You have the power to ruin his life and he knows it. Ask him something like, "What's your zodiac?" ... , and then, "What's your s. o.'s zodiac?" If he answers with a definitive answer, he has a s. o. You can then ask him what he likes the most about her etc. But ask one question or two, you don't want to sound too probing.

Sometimes people will just casually bring it up in conversation, like you're talking about something and they'll say something like "your girlfriend/wife must be happy", which leads me to tell them I don't have one lol. But you can probably just ask directly. If you just ask casually, like it's no big deal, then it won't be awkward or anything. Or you could casually mention that you're single and ask him if he is also.
