Cuddling, flirting or just a close friend thing?

My best friend (who is a guy) and I cuddled the other night. I have feelings mixed feelings for him right now, I'm stuck on him and another guy basically. Anyways we cuddled the other night and we normally don't do that. I mean we flirt a lot but that's how I am with most guys. So I want to know if it's a flirty way to say hey I kinda dig ya, or something you can do with your best friend and not mean anything?

Also this was his idea not mine, he invited me to come look at stuff on his laptop and had his arm of my side of the couch.

So give me your opinion on what you think it was about.

LOL I don;t need a play by play I need to know was there tension, were their emotions involved. Did his hand tense when you touch it, was it limp?, was he playfull, cause the subtle difference determine whether the cuddling ment anythign or not

Truthfully I wasn't paying much attention at the begining, because I'm trying to get rid of my feelings and focus on the other guy. It seemed to be just relaxed though. I was just sitting there though, trying not to actually lie on him. Eventually his body language seemed inviting so I leaned on him and at first he seemed tense. Then he was relaxed enough that I felt his arm actually around my shoulders and neck.

sh*t that's very ambiguous, that fact that he placed his arm around your neck suggest intent. Was it his hand or his arm, and was he sttrocking his hand?

His hand was by my neck for sure. I didn't see him stroke my hand when I did notice.

Oh, Also in my living room, which my family did come in and out off. So I don't know if that means anything. I was surprised he actually did do anything first off, and second off around my parents.

The thing is I would put my arm around a close friend if we were sitting on the couch, but I wouldn't stroke her neck or anything. There is a really possibility that he was acting on subconcious feelings he hasn't articulate yet. I know from my experience it's a stones through from a close friend to "hey why not a girlfriend", when you're friends first you get to appreciate the person for who they are and build that foundation for the relationship. I would say his actions were flirting but it

We would look at each other, and then one or both of us would look back toward the computer.

If anything I think it was nervous eye contact but we always smiled at each other. I mean it might of been like a second or two longer, but nothing very noticeable.

nervous eye contact doesn't count then. I'd go with what I said previously, see how he acts when you're around him next time. Jugde from there I would say then
