He does everything right I’ve spoken to his mom he doesn’t play games with me he asked if he was trying to be my boyfriend as he asked me to commit myself to him
And given me some sweet compliments
so I said “chill are you trying to be my boyfriend” and he said no... but I’m asking for honesty and loyalty and that you’ll be down for me no matter what. You said we can’t do no boyfriend girlfriend thing.
then I said “yeah we can’t cause the age factor” I’m 20 almost 21 & he’s 28
then he said “Yup you fucked up. the age thing for real?”
I told him “yes we’d be more compatible if we where closer in age we’d have more in common too”
then he said shut up already go to bed & is now ignoring me which is very unlike him.. would I have offended him?

I wouldn't say "offended", but it seems like the age is an issue for you, and he doesn't care about that, and because he doesn't, he can understand why it's a problem for you. If you've mentioned this in the past, maybe he didn't take it seriously, and now it's just kind of "hitting home" that "hey, she's actually really bothered by this" maybe?

That's a common fallacy. Just because two people are close in age doesn't necessarily mean you'll have more in common. There are plenty of people my age that I have nothing in common with. Compatible personalities and interests don't come with a prescribed age gap.

He wants to have kids with you, so yea. The age difference is only 7 years or less. It is doable.

Women age faster than men but do live longer. Women that have babies age faster than women that don't.

If the age difference bothers you, why are you with him? If at every turn you bring up age being an issue then you probably shouldn't date older/younger and stick to around your age.
