What does the fact that my husband is three years younger than me have to do with what we were discussing?

I got into an argument with my neighbor because her son was bullying other children. She then went and told our other neighbors about our argument, referring to me as a woman who is three years older than her husband. It's absurd and completely irrelevant to our conversation. I'm at a loss for words. If she confronts me with this ridiculous notion, I'd appreciate your advice on how to respond... Thanks xx

I'm not sure the best way to confront this besides just saying the truth of how does that relate to your argument you are having. But as to why she decided to use that, I can only assume you were winning the argument so she decided to change tactics and attack you in another way or try to get people to discredit you for something she thinks is wrong and assumes others will agree.

As a add on can I ask you your husband and your age? Because that may impact how your neighbors react. It's possible depending on your age that they side with her

Then I don't see an issue there. At that age that isn't a big deal. She probably just thinks it's wrong and thinks everyone will agree and she wants to ruin your credibility with everyone so they side with her. That is the only thing I can think of as what she is doing.

As long as you are telling the truth. I wouldn’t be real concerned.
