This guy I'm talking to has a habit of always messaging me first but... there's times mid conversation where I ask him a question and he completely overlooks it, it can be something completely little but he still overlooks it and it bothers me. So, today when he texted me in the morning I told him... that I'm not going to ask him anything because he'll probably ignore it. That's when he told me he always responds to me and wanted to know what I was talking about. O showed him an example and he acknowledged his mistake. After that, I didn't bother messaging him anymore.

You didn't make a mistake by notifying him that his actions were bothering you, but you did by being a petty little princess. Here's this guy who by the sound of it is making an effort, engaging with you, and acknowledging his mistakes even when brought to him via a venemously passive aggressive jab and you refuse to engage because he failed to answer a few minor questions persumable becuase he glanced over them. Sounds like he dodged a bullet.

Nah. I let someone know earlier about doing something I didn't like and I think she got really upset over it and hasn't messaged me back.
