I was talking with a guy over text and final thing he said was if you want to continue talking later , I accept. Who tf does he think he is

1) I'm confused about the context, maybe go into more details. Was he saying like goodbye for now or like was it a final goodbye like if you want us to continue dating then I accept?

Because i don't know the context i can't answer the question fully. Guy or girl, I don't like it when people say you can come over if you want it? Or i don't care its up to you. Because it makes me feel like the person doesn't care. Like oh you can come over or not either way i will be fine is how it comes off. If I like someone romantically I'm going to move with intent or purpose. I'm not gonna make it seem like i don't care or I'm good either way. If I want a guy to come over or want to continue talking to him, I'm going to say I'm busy now but lets continue this conversation later or can you come over? I wouldn't add the if you want part because it comes off as i don't really care what you do/choose.

I would need more details about the conversation but it sounds to me like A.) he’s bad at joking and B.) he’s just saying he wants to talk again but he’s not sure if that’s what you want. I don't know 🤷🏻‍♀️

He was probably making a joke but it was not obvious because you were texting instead of talking on the phone. It is SO easy to have misunderstandings when texting. Think about the possibility that you did misunderstand, give it another chance, and consider actually talking on the phone rather than texting.

It's phony. You can turn around his behavior just by making it obvious to him, so he becomes aware of the nature of what he is doing. In a non serious way.
