If you are a sports lover, that means it is a big part of your life. Anyone else who is going to be apart of your life will need to understand/ be ready to attend games or viewing parties or else it will cause issues in the future. If he doesn't want to get to know you simply because of that, he does not deserve you. Move on and find a sports fanatic like yourself who will appreciate that part of you.
