Why are some guys so triggered?

I had one guy saying most teenage girls don't like older men in their 20s to 50s and that my experience is in the minority because I said many do like men in those ages from an early age.

I liked men in their 30s and 40s when I was a teenager, and had sex with a few, yet men get triggered about this, and deny it, and go berserk when someone claims it happens, is it jealousy or ignorance?

Because it´s partly jealousy but it´s also because we wanna warn girls. Guys in their 40/50s aren´t likely to be interested in girls in 18-20s because of their character but because they are unexperienced, they are more likely to be virgins, they are easier to be manipulated.
These guys don´t have interest in young women besides sex because other ways they could go for women of their age. They´ll probably be gone when she gets pregnant because their interest is less likely to settle down. They probably just see young girls as an easy option for sex.
Just because they are older they aren´t necessarily more mature they are just more experienced in sex. If you don´t have set up standards by the age of 45, you´ll never have any.
Majurity isn´t something that comes with age. Some guys never mature.

Might be true. Younger guys are triggered because they see that older guys aren´t more mature than themselves. Especially if a guy is still single in his 40/50s, he´s obviously not capable of having a healthy relationship with a woman.
It says a lot of a guy in his 40/50s is into young women that could be his daughter by age he obviously is completely shallow and sees a woman as a set of holes.
I´m personally not triggered in terms of jealousy because I know and have met a lot of women who have different preferences and are not into too way older guys.
For me it´s rather a interesting question if they sleep with a minor as well because that would be not a huge step into pedophilia.

Partly both honestly. Women are a lot Pickier about their choice in men these days (usually just based on my own observation) and us men feel the pinch and it leads to frustration. A lot of the guys getting triggered are simply venting their frustrations. So when they here you explain these age differences and how it's worked for you in the past they

1- probably have never witnessed a relationship like that themselves themselves are partly ignorant of it.

2- are a little jealous that you found that success and they are currently struggling to even find a first date.

Even when I was a teenager, I was still disgusted that girls my age found men old enough to be their dad attractive. I'm still young though, am I useless? To think a woman feels useless just because she disapproves of something is pathetic.
