Why are guys triggered?

I met a 19 year old guy who thinks most guys his age get sexually attracted to women in their 40s and 50s, I told him he's in the minority with his friends because most guys don't want old women but rather women in their 20s or early 30s.

He got angry and raised his voice at me. I thought he was an idiot and I blocked him.

One thing is that it sounds like he views relationships differently here, it sounds like he wants to build a life before finding a wife.
