I don't know why but it's kinda hot when they drive like that but I know it's not the correct way
I don't know why but every guy I know drives like that.

I noticed i drive with one arm sometimes recently and i realized that i tend to do this when im more relaxed/chill. When im going fast or need to focus il subconsciously add the 2nd hand in.
So it's pretty much linked to more comfy/relaxed driving.
Hahahaha
Actually if we would go by the logic of the 2nd pic (which i think is stupid funny 🤣🤣) then im a doochbag, farmer, racer, and a god dam good MOM. Cause my one hand had been all over that wheel. The bottom grip is the most lazy friendly and least effort so i tend to hold there in the most relaxed moments LMAO
Its pretty common in the uk to drive with one hand on the wheel as most people drive manual gear boxes (stick shift).
I dont think it is common to hold the wheel at the top though because it doesn't give you good control and your hand would be in the wrong place if something happened and you needed to add your other hand quickly.
I generally use the racing grip but at times use a bastardisation of the farmer / mom positions because it is more comfortable for me due to the angle the steering wheel in my car is at.
It's comfortable to me although I'm closer to the farmer than the douchebag in that pic. It's usually when I don't have to pay much attention to the road though, like when I can use cruise control. If there's traffic or I need to be attentive like when it's raining or snowing, I use both hands.
There might be something to the differences in arms. For example, when I work on the computer, I like to push the keyboard way out far to the middle of the desk so that I have to kind of reach out to type (and I can rest my forearms on my desk in between). Whereas I find more women seem comfortable with the keyboard much closer, almost immediately below and in front of them. I find that way cramped and uncomfortable.
I don't when I type but I keep the keyboard at a distance where, in between typing, I got enough space in front of me to rest the arms or even put my elbow on the desk. It's more comfortable for me. If I scoot the keyboard closer, it's like my elbows wanna squish into my lats, and I feel all cramped.
See you even became a developer hahaha. Im soo good at this. And yes i read you man. Once you are able to do whatever you want in a game or break all game rules then the joy is literally lost. The joy of gaming, while many people dont know it, resides in the 'struggle' to climb to the top or get more powerful. It's the path we take and navigating around the already set rules and trying to find holes or finding secrets within those rules to get us faster to the top. It's the addiction to "enjoying progress" that makes games joyful. Once you are a GM, developer, or even a functionality tester the entire joy dies because you can get to the "end progress" with the click of the button and do not go through the "journey" to get there.
@Battooot For me, it wasn't just the games we developed (although those were definitely boring for us to play) but others as well. It's like I try to play them and I get caught up in the technical details like, "Wow! What sort of shader are they using here? How did they program this part?" Things like that. It becomes difficult to immerse myself. I start thinking too much about how the game was made rather than imagining myself inside the game.
Pass, but it’s a really shit way to drive.
I tend to drive a little higher than race car driver, as I use my paddles a lot on all the cars.
some are longer than others but it’s being in easy control of paddles and other stuff in the wheel.
Some are driving (or learned to drive on) stick shifts, where you'll often need one hand free. As a former truck driver, I can tell you that steering a semi is like hugging a beach ball- that wheel is enormous, and you absolutely need to use two hands- unless it has power steering, which has been standard for decades.
The old "ten and two" positioning that I was taught, and that you probably were, too, stems from a time before that; without power steering, the wheel is MUCH less responsive, particularly at lower speeds. Nowadays, especially if you're not turning and are just making tiny adjustments to compensate for road structures to keep yourself going straight, you can often do it with one.
Why do women tend to stand a certain way that men do not? Maybe having a lot of muscle on your arm makes it more comfortable to rest your arm in the top position sometimes. Obviously the same thing that's comfortable for a man won't be the same for a woman because (hopefully) your muscle density, bone density and proportions are different from a man's.
If you have long arms, yes that is a comfortable position. Holding in that position reduces a little tension on the arms when held straight and balances the weight.
When the steering is held on the sides you arms make a V shape with elbows falling down, making you hand heavier
Because we think we are cool and then that's why so many guys get into accidents and women have to pay less for car insurance on average.
I do it half the time. The other half my hand is on the bottom. Depends on the mood I suppose. If I'm driving harder and more aggressive, my hand's on top. Great control of the steering wheel that way.
I drive that way because I have long arms and because I drove manual transmission vehicles almost exclusively for 20 years, including my SCCA racing days.
I drive with one of my thumbs touching the bottom of the steering wheel most of the time. I feel the most relaxed that way. I'm pretty confident in my reflexes to grab the steering wheel firmly if I need to react quickly.
This picture is spot on for me. I drive with my hands at the bottom and I'm a mom lol
As far as I know, you're always SUPPOSED to have your hands at 10 and 2 o'clock!
What I've always wondered was: why so many girls drive with their left foot ON the seat directly in front of their left ass cheek? I NEVER see guys drive like this so I have to assume it has something to do with having a pussy! Does it just feel better to sit that way? Are you trying to "air it out"? Does it get you off, in some way?
I used to drive with one hand on the bottom of the steering wheel. Drove my brother crazy but never lost control of the car
I can do this badass flippy thing when turning right. No stupid palm steering. Although it does depend on the steering wheel. My hand is top right in the blue region
You can actually get a lot more leverage very quickly on the steering wheel if your hand is at the top or at the center bottom. Putting your hand on one side or other of the steering wheel means that you won't have as much leverage in the long Direction although you will have a lot of Leverage in the shorter Direction. I like to drive with my hand on the side of the steering wheel and I prefer to drive one handed since two handed feels awkward and uncomfortable to me
I drive like that so big clit energy radiates off me
It’s more to due with the angle. Since my shoulders are so high above the wheel it’s a natural place to rest my hand. Otherwise I would have to slouch down to reach other places
I usually place my hands to the left and right of the words raceway drivers on the inside of the wheel.
So I can put my other hand on my girls thigh lol. Is the only reason
It is comfortable when you have more upper body strength. Useful when you have a stick shift.
What about the guys with one hand at six o'clock?
Because I tend to hang out there a lot.
Apparently I drive like a mix between a douchebag and a mom, and I'm not to happy about it. XD
@FoxnEagle
Oh god no. Say it isn't so.
Actually it's a good way to drive (not on your test) because it shows you're relaxed.
I mean, no, 2 is not accurate.
I drive like that because I'm kinda used to it having driven manual cars for a couple years when I first started driving.
Now I just kinda find it comfy and it leaves my other hand free.
I drive with one hand at the 9:00 position. The other hand needs to be free to shift gears.
I wouldn't call myself a douche bag but it gives you more control over the steering wheel, what can I say I be whipping with one hand
You use that to keep the vehicle going straight. I used to put my hand at the bottom of the steering wheel.
If you drive, or learned to drive on a manual transmission you get used to having only one hand on the wheel. Also I'm tall so the top of the wheel is more comfortable.
I drive like this lol I think it’s because I learned how to drive in stick
I'm no guy. I hold it all ways, mostly that way, and the bottom.
I like when he holds it that way, or just using one hand because his other is on me.
I guess im in your douche bags category because i drive stick.. Perhaps you should not insult people in that manor.. Having a manual transmission makes driving like that a necessity.
Thanks for that... Like one of the other guys said on here, I can drive just about anything.
Oh god no, I would likely fall and hurt my self or worse, get caught riding one.
1. It's comfortable when you've been driving for a while.
2. Manual
3. Men aren't the only ones who drive like that
I drive with my knee most of the time. I learned that habit from an ex that liked to get on it at 70.
Probably so they can beep the horn immediately with their forearm when someone gets in their way
I have the tendency to over correct with two hands on the wheel. It may also be that they learned on a manual transmission.
This is the way I was taught it's easier to turn with the one hand I think personally
Just a comfort thing. I'm usually in a relaxed state if I'm doing that.
to be cool of course.
and cause its more comfy at times
I drive with my left thumb only on the left "Mom" zone. When manouvering more I switch to "racecar"
I drive like that I feel I drive better not safeer but better
You get good control on the wheel, and it's pretty a comfortable position
Ya just gotta butt into everything, don't you?
Just drive the way you want and STFU.
Hiding NOTHING. You? Are you projecting again? LOL
I drove like that when I had a old Chevy but now I tend to hold the wheel at the bottom either one hand or two hands.
I drive like that and I feel like I have better control of the steering wheel. I don’t think only guys do that.
I don't know but I find it sexy
Good question I don't do that and I have a big truck
Because you can turn the wheel 90° left or right a lot easier when you put your hand at the top!
I drive with one hand on the wheel because I drive a stick shift. In order to shift gears i need one on the shifter
That's even sexier 😉
Thanks. I can drive just about any vehicle
That's really awesome
The way you do it is so much better than everyone else. I admire you so much for where you put your hands on the steering wheel.
I drive with my hand at the bottom of the steering wheel.
Perfect question hahaha👌😂
One hand gives you more control if you need to react quickly.
You don’t have to cross your arms over.
I like the picture, but... how do women drive?
So they can finger you with their other
It gives us the most ergonomic leverage and control.
We use the other hand to either
1) finger the pussy sitting next to us
2) play with our dick
just make sure not both at once😂😂
@valentina4eva LOL. Noted. Thanks.
Nah, you just steer with your knee bro.
Get your priorities straight.
Right hand pussy, left hand dick, left knee steering wheel XD
😂😂
It's power steering why do you need two hands
huh... I thought everyone drove like that.
You have short stubby midget arms.
That's the point I'm getting at. Guys are taller and have longer arms on average than women. So men’s shoulders sit higher in the cab in relation to the steering wheel making the angle more comfortable than for women. Long arms have to go somewhere in small spaces, so resting an elbow on the edge of the window and letting the hand rest at the top of a steering wheel feels better than cramming your arms down bellow you that is unless you can put your seat all the way back and recline while driving. Then it feels OK to have your hands basically in your lap with a hand at the bottom of the wheel with your elbows resting on the center counsel. The more people you pack in a car, the less room each person gets. Larger people get cramped and need to stretch out… So basically your question is a man spreading question. You being a midget don’t understand or sympathize with people that are larger than average having to fit in spaces designed for average to small people. Then you complain about them being bigger than you and taking up space because you have a napoleon complex.
Comfort and style lol we gotta look cool... always
Lmao I'm a race car driver! 😂
