Would you be open to being in a long distance relationship especially a new relationship? What would be the reasons for wanting to commit to her?

yeah, I've done it. It's hard, especially trust. If anyone goes out there's always that thought in the back of your mind of what they did while they were out. As for why, sometimes you just fall in love. It is easier if there is a clear knowledge of when long distance will end. Like if you know you guys will be in the same city again in 6 months for sure then it isn't to bad. At least that was my case. The first few weeks really suck, but once we got to about halfway it really felt doable and like we would be fine just waiting it out. If you don't know when you will be able to live near each other/together again, and indefinite timeline, then I don't think I could have done it.

Maybe, but only if there were a plan for one of us to move pretty soon. Within a month I would be going there or bringing her here.
