Its just strategy men use to get laid, but its ineffective. In fact its so innefective that they are laughting matter and thus called simps and looked down upon for having such strategy.
Women dont respect them and are turned off by that strategy.

I feel like it is less than the world portrays. Being a SIMP shouldn't even be a thing. I hate that term. Just because I compliment a woman on her beauty, or congratulate her on an accomplishment, or just in general be a gentleman and show her the respect that a woman deserves doesn't make me a SIMP. It shows that I was raised the right way and to value a woman like a treasure. The love of a woman is one of the best things this world has to offer (or so I'm told) and it should be cherished.

Here's the problem though. If a guy even just does one good thing he gets labeled instantly. It is never too much... its just automatically you are a SIMP if you compliment a woman. It's ridiculous. And if being respectful and doing nice things for someone is being a SIMP, then so be it I guess. I do nice things for people and don't expect things back. In my opinion, SIMP is someone who does those things but expects the girl to do something back for him.

Hmm I'm going to try to say this nicely. I can see you coming off as whiney and bitter to most women because that's what you sound like to me and my sister. It sounds like you feel simps are getting more than they deserve and you feel entitled to more because you were "raised the right way" and you do want something in return like the very simps you described. I could be wrong but that's how you come off. Perhaps you have a lack of awareness. It sounds like you think women are almost better than men as a whole because of what you were told but I think received low quality information. And if you ask me, any man who tolerates and even defends all these low quality women is doing too much and that wouldn't count as respecting women but rather disrespecting yourself, and that's really unattractive. Also believing that women want simps is referring to lower quality women. To say that women as a whole want simps is just disrespectful to high quality women. Any quality woman has standards and kindness is at the top of the list along with confidence and self respect. @Honesttguy - Yes, I blame my generation, they did a shitty job raising our children, whom are now parents of these snowflakes. Over protective, helicopter parents, participation trophies and awards, safe-spaces, and hate speech. A bunch of wimps and simps. The girls were told their a princess and some white knight in shining armor will swoop in and sweep them off their feet. Even disney got in on this shtick.

Worse, they didn't keep their marriage together, or never married at all, and then try to raise their children as single parents. Neither gender can be effective as the other, so the kids with no mom, or no dad, are severely disadvantaged. And whatever that parent has left over after working and running a household by themselves, they owe to their children. But the first thing you hear is they're trying to date, trying to find a new SO. Just so much fail.

I have three grown children, two from a former marriage, one from the current. I'm lucky, they all turned out golden, lovely mature well-adjusted adults. But they all thought I was an asshole when they were teenagers. Oh well. They thank me now. No tats, no piercings, they all make bank, all have good relationships. Life is hard, and then you die. Just don't give up.
