This doesn't seem like enough legal grounds to sue on? Seems ridiculous. But, while feelings are uncontrollable (you can't help it), this act would tell me how little the person thinks of me. So that's what I would keep "reminding" myself of. They obviously don't love you, so why give them another chance? Another chance to hurt you more? That's my view.
