Examples of friendly behavior-
He puts his hand on their shoulder as they are having a conversation.
He has TWO female bestfriends that he sometimes spends 1-one-1 time together with.
He has girls always sliding up on his Snapchat stories with heart eye emojis reminding him how cute and fine he is.
He has his female friends and followers on Instagram spamming his Instagram posts with heart eye emojis as well.
Girls hype him up on social media and in real life.
Females randomly tell him he's cute out of nowhere.
He's seen as the "finest man" among his group of friends.

If it's the girl trying to be friendly, I would give her a stern talk and ask my boyfriend to be weary of her. I can't control the girl's behavior.

However, if HE is initiating the touching and being too friendly, then I won't allow it. I will admit: I'm very insecure, and that's something I am working on. If he is that friendly with other girls, it will drive me mad.

And before anyone says anything, I am NEVER this friendly with guy friends. At most I talk to them a little bit, most of my friends that are close are girls.

The attention he gets from other girls isn't his fault. I'd get a little jealous but I'd be proud to have such an attractive guy. Now, if he *doesn't* turn girls that try to slide in his dms down, that's when I'd be upset.
As his girlfriend, I'd have to trust him not to cheat with female friends and not isolate him because that would be toxic.
I personally have a lot of guy friends whom I've known way longer than my current boyfriend and he has girl friends that he's know for a long time as well. Mutual trust is the key to a healthy relationship!
BUT, if it looks like he's not being exclusive, that's your cue to dip and find someone who WILL be (if that's what you want!).

I think it depends on how he handles the situation. If he still sets and enforces appropriate boundaries, that's the best he can do and he can't help the reactions of other women, but only his reaction to them. I don't see anything wrong with opposite sex friends as long as appropriate boundaries are set and enforced, and he does not cross the line, nor allow his friends to cross the line.

If he seems to be eating it up and encouraging the behavior, I don't think that's good. That would imply he's insecure and possibly narcissistic at best.

The most important thing, however, is that you trust him to do the right thing. If not, you have issues that need to be worked on in your relationship.
