"cold feet" on first date?

Can I please have some opinions as to the reason why a guy would get "cold feet" before the first date?

Take things slower with him, don't go so fast and don't pressure him if you don't want him to suddenly find an excuse and leave your life. Maybe the anxiety has won him just give him a little space

This does happen... majority of time is because he isn't self confident.. which is the biggest reason... as much as guys try to act all suave and cool.. they do get easily intimidated
